Snow going back! Moment adrenaline junkie rides his snowbike off the edge of a cliff before parachuting to safety

This is the moment a thrill-seeker rides his snowbike off a mountain cliff in a hair-raising basejump.
Cody Matechuck, known as Matechuck111 on social media, filmed the stunt in Whistler, British Columbia.
The 26-year-old Canadian plunged over the cliff face before deploying his parachute in a scene reminiscent of a Bond movie.
In the clip, the engine of the snowbike can be heard rumbling as Cody makes tracks through the thick layer of snow.
He grips the handlebars tight before suddenly accelerating in a straight line directly toward the cliff’s edge.

The adrenaline junkie then lets go of his bike and deploys his own parachute. As the snowbike falls away from him another chute opens, allowing it to glide down to the snow.
Cody can be heard shouting and whooping in excitement as he is buffeted by the wind during his slow descent, in footage from his GoPro.
He glides down and lands in the snow, in the footage shared recently.
Speaking about the stunt, Cody, from Cochrane, Alberta, said: ‘I was super pumped that I found this location just earlier that week.

The adrenaline junkie then lets go of his bike and deploys his own parachute as well as that of his snowbike
He can be heard shouting in excitement as he begins getting buffeted by the wind during his slow descent to the ground before landing successfully
‘It was perfect weather to make the first one happen.’ He added: ‘We celebrated at Whistler ski and snowboard festival after this snowbike base jump and then two weeks later performed another snowbike base!
